Tibhar
The German brand was founded in Saarbrücken in 1969 by Yugoslavian singles and doubles champion TIBor HARangozo. TIBHAR has been led by the Berg family since Harangozo’s passing in 1978. The loyalty to Saarbrücken persists as TIBHAR is the main sponsor of the Bundesliga club 1 F.C. Saarbrücken, the winner of the 2022 German League and the 2023/2024 Champions League. TIBHAR has also supported many international events including the 2011 World Championships in Rotterdam, the 2014 and 2015 European Championships, and the innovative 2017 T2 league. TIBHAR’s goal has been to create high-quality table tennis equipment that caters to the needs of both amateur and professional players. TIBHAR has a comprehensive line ... of table tennis products, including the Evolution, Quantum, and Hybrid rubber series, the popular Grass D.TecS long pips, and the Lebrun, Dynamic, MK, Fortino, and Samsonov blade series. For many years, the cadre of TIBHAR-sponsored players was led by superstar and former world #1 Vladimir Samsonov (3-time European champion; winner of 28 ITTF world tour singles events; 2016 Olympics semi-finalist). Following his retirement, a new cadre of stars is leading the brand, including Alexis Lebrun (2022-2024 French Men’s Singles champion; 2024 World Team Table Tennis Championships runner-up), Felix Lebrun (2023 European Games Men’s Singles champion; 2024 World Team Table Tennis Championships runner-up), Bernadette Szocs (winner of 2023 European Games Singles and Teams, 2018 Europe Top 16, and 2017 T2 Women’s Singles), and Darko Jorgić (2022-2024 European Top 16 Champion).
