The Felix Lebrun Hyper Carbon is a well balanced offensive blade designed and used by Felix himself. The blade has the popular 5+2 construction with Hyper carbon layers located on either side of the core ply. This, along with the external plies produced from Limba wood, provides an amazing balance of speed and control. The blade allows players to execute controlled rotation-loaded topspins and counter-topspins when taking the ball off the bounce and staying very close to the table. At the same time, it maintains great power qualities to allow an open game, being one-two steps away from the table.

Quality

This is an excellent looping blade. Its soft and yet its fast. I have used and owned TB Spirit, TB ALC, Primorac Carbon, Sardius and Jun Mizutani ZLC. This blade is faster than TB spirit and ALC. The limba outer ply allows longer dwell time for spin generation. Two of my favorite blades are JM ZLC and Felix Lebrun Hyper Carbon. Its a toss between the two for looping and i am currently using the FL Hyper Carbon as i slightly prefer this blade. Its one of the best blades for power looping. Workmanship is as expected from a premium blade. Build quality is comparable to BTY blades. I am definitely buying another one if it goes on sale again.

Quality

The Felix Lebrun blade has a slightly larger length & width head than the standard 150 x 157 blades. Very solid balance and highly stable performance. Great spin and control, but still has very good power; enough power!. I feel a sense of control & confidence with this blade. I love it! I believe the wood plies are limba-ayous-carbon-ayous core. I own both the flared and straight handles. I gravitate more towards the straight handle, but still like the flared handle as well.
