This bat I purchased couple of months back as I am intermediate in table tennis. For the price paid and considering this is Mark V rubber, I expected a better spin as well as grip on the ball. I like the bounce though. I would not pay again this much to get this bat.

This is my first ever table tennis racket. I am loving it. It is not that heavy and doesn't make the ball bounce off super fast. I need to give it a little bit of a push.

The quality is top-notch. For a beginner, it is a very good choice.

Wanted to improve on my intermediate-level skills and this racket did the trick. It is light and forgiving while I learn new techniques. I am an aggressive player so this is a great stepping stone for me as I improve.

Guys at my club couldn't believe I would change to this from a Viscaria. They called Mark V old school, redundant, outdated technology. Then I started beating players I used to lose to, picking up those vital 3-4 points that turn matches.
In six weeks of using this, every player in our club has commented on an almost unbelievable improvement in my game. Yes I have been working hard, but I have learned two things fundamental to improved table tennis:
1) The person who keeps the ball on the table the most, wins games.
2) Confidence is everything.
This racket is a confidence builder. 100%. It is forgiving and lethal in equal measure. Slightly out of position or with poor timing...you can get the ball back on the table. Good position and good timing....you are going to blast it.
Choosing a blade as a new player is daunting, and finding the best rubbers for that blade is equally confusing. Rasaka has made it easy, matching Sweden blade with Mark V rubber is a match made in heaven.
Many complain that the Mark V picks up dust like a magnet. While true, it is a super easy rubber to clean. A quick fog of breath and a wipe on my hairy forearm and it's back to looking new.
My last word of advice for players who are newish or mid-level: All-out attack blades paired with all-out attack rubbers are probably doing you more harm than good.
The Yasaka Mark V and Stiga Clipper must be seriously considered if you want to build confidence and technique. Mark V you don't need to stress about choosing the best rubber so I give it credit over the Clipper in that regard.
I am going to buy 2 more of these and extra rubbers just in case Yasaka ever decides to discontinue this line.

Currently, I am a 1900 (rating) player. I used this racket when I was <1500. My first racket was the Yasaka Original which is a more balanced racket with regard to speed, spin and amazing control. As I started improving and had more control in my game, I changed from the Yasaka Original to this racket for more speed and spin. Great racket and cheaper than many butterfly rackets.

The racket offers great control and very good spin, also the build quality and packaging met my expectations. The blade size is marginally smaller than the rackets I had been using but I got used to the racket quickly. On shipping timeframe, tabletennis11.com does set the buyers' expectations - in my case, it took 21 calendar days due to a long week-end in Estonia, a slow customs clearance in India and another long week-end in India. But the wait was most certainly worth it!
