This is a fantastic blade that allows you to play some really amazing shots with ease. It's made specially for Ma Lin's style, and that shows. I have both the shakehand FL and Chinese penhold version of this blade (Ma Lin used the cpen version).
Design: Ma Lin Extra Offensive is designed for playing penhold in the traditional Chinese style (close-to-table attacking and blocking). Shakehand players can still imitate this style -- there is a shakehand player at my club who plays extremely well with this blade -- but be aware that this blade was not designed for shakehand players. The blade is designed to work well with Skyline 2, the rubber of Ma Lin. With Skyline 2 rubber, you can hit the ball very hard if you use a sharp flicking motion with a bit of topspin (see: Ma Lin loop kill).
Beginner players: Some people say that this blade is too fast for a beginner. I think this might be a little bit true -- it is pretty fast for a wood blade. But I think anyone can learn well with this blade if you put some slow tacky rubbers on it (I'd recommend Skyline 2 or Hurricane 3, unboosted). If you have experience in another racket sport, or you're at a level where you can keep a consistent rally going, this is a great blade to learn and play with.
Flick & Loop-kill: The place where this blade shines is the forehand flick and the forehand loop-kill. These strokes are so easy to play, and they're very effective at the club level because not many people play the traditional penhold style any more. Penholders will have a great time.
When to hit: Taking the ball right off the bounce is really easy with this blade -- even when looping underspin -- and taking such shots can be incredibly satisfying. You can take the ball at any time, but it's most advantageous to try to play the ball right off the bounce.
Backhand punch: The traditional penhold backhand punch is another place where this blade shines. This punch can also be imitated using the shakehand backhand. It's very easy to redirect an opponent's smash and block it to an inconvenient location. This is because the blade has an amazing level of control. You can punch the ball really well with the reverse backhand (RPB) stroke as well.
Feeling: The feeling of this blade is kind of funny. It doesn't feel like other wood blades, and it doesn't feel like carbon. If I had to describe it, it feels almost like it's hollow when you touch the ball. It gives a lot of feedback in terms of vibration, which some people like and others don't. Vibration is good for learning, though, which is why I think this blade can be good for beginners. The vibration feels clean and it does not bother me.
Spin: This blade can create spinny loops from brushing the ball, but they tend to be pretty slow. The low speed can give your opponent an opportunity to counterattack, which is not ideal. Brushing loops will produce a slow (but spinny) ball. Brushing shots are not so satisfying to play, and they leave you feeling like you hit the ball incorrectly. Beginners who learn to play with this blade will learn a lot of good techniques, but they will not learn how to play a brushing loop because brushing loops do not feel good.
Fast looping: If you want a fast loop, you need to engage the core of the blade and hit very quickly. This means that looping far from the table will have very low control, compared to other blades which let you hit fast loops with a slower stroke.
My style and personal thoughts: I am not very agile and I don't have the best reaction time, but I am tall with a big wingspan, so I often find myself standing far behind the table. Because of this, the Ma Lin Extra Offensive does not suit my style so well. It's a shame, because I like everything else about this blade, and no other blade competes with this one in the close-to-table game. I played with Ma Lin Extra Offensive for several months and ended up switching to Nittaku Miyabi because of the far-from-table stability. I had a great time using this blade and will continue to use it as a spare. The only blades that I have enjoyed more than this one are 1-ply hinoki.
Who should use this blade: Players (particularly penholders) who are agile and reactive enough to play close to the table should seriously consider this blade. Beginners who want to play a fast attack-based game should also consider this blade. Anyone who admires Ma Lin and wants to play like him should try this blade. This blade is also well-suited for players who use short pips.

Hard and low throw because of outer plies on low impact makes it spin insensitive on short game, but when you hit hard or block a powerful shot the flex comes in and gives exceptional dwell and feeling, as well as spin generation.

It's a bit weak compared to modern blades if you want to make spinny loops, you have to really hit through. Also hard to attack far from the table.

Can get head heavy depending on rubbers. I recommend sealing, despite hard top layer it can still lose grains upon ungluing.
Heavy models vibrate a lot less than lighter ones.

I'm moving on to a softer and stiffer blade now as it suits my playstyle better, but I developed my backhand loop and underspin open-up on this blade is it's easier than on any other I've tried.

This blade is good for anyone. Beginners, advanced players, etc. There is a reason it is one of the top selling blades and there is a reason it is frequently sold out. I have this blade in both handshake and penhold, and both are excellent. I think the penhold version is a little better, which makes sense because the blade was developed for a penholder.

This blade is very fast, but still has good feeling of the ball. You can execute fast, spinny attacks from close to the table. Loops are pretty good as well. You have to be active in your blocking. I've tried many blades and I can't recommend this one enough. If you have any doubts about what blade to buy, get this one.

First, I love the anatomical handle of Yasaka (feels right in your hand).
The blade has a very good shape and fine craftsmanship.
The blade is a very offensive all-wood blade good for looping and short play too, more forgiving than carbon blades, good control, and when you swing hard wow.
Replacing the rubbers is so easy leaves no effect on the blade surface.
Very good blade for intermediate and professional players.
I don't recommend it for beginners.

I was using "Yasaka Sweden Extra" with Mark V rubbers but then decided to go for the "Yasaka Ma Lin Extra Offensive" blade with Rakza 9. I was excited to receive the Racket and play with it. As usual, I got the delivery well before the promised date from tabletennis11.
Now I am intermediate (I play Div 2 in the UK) but I struggled to control the speed. The bade is extremely quick and very spiny, My opponents were struggling to control my spin and I was winning points on Service however I was not controlling it well while Rally, especially Back Hand, I have a strong backhand and I win a lot of points with it but my style didn't suite. Also, the other thing is that this blade compared to "Sweden Extra" is a little heavier.
I lost the first match of my season after winning at least 10 matches.
I decided to go back to my old blade, Now I am using "Yasaka Sweden Extra" with MarkV backhand and Rakza 9 forehand.
Now I am not concluding that Ma Lin Extra Offensive is bad but I was not worth it. If someone is really an offensive player and knows to control the topspin go ahead with it. You will be amazed by its speed.

So I bought a faster blade. YEO. I used only 1 week. Too stiff for me. So I bought the 3rd blade from TT11 again. Malin Carbon. I have good service from TT11. Salute for you guys.

I am playing close to the table, mostly attack. I own the Yasaka Battle Balsa, Ma Lin Extra Offensive, Ma Lin Soft Carbon, and Goiabaio5 blades all with the same rubbers (Yasaka Rakza 7 Soft on one side, Rakza PO - pips-out - on the other). This blade is a little bit faster than the Battle Balsa but seems to have a larger sweet spot. It is really fun to play, blocking, topspin, push, backhand punch with pips-out, etc.

This blade has standard quality, is not faster, and the control is standard too. I prefer Avalox blades or Stiga blades. Much more quality than Infinity blade, Intensity, or Avalox 500 and 550. Very soft veneers. Table tennis11 sent me the package very fast and good reception.

This is a nice blade with good speed and good feeling at same time. played with Vega Pro 2.0 on FH and Vega Intro 1.8 on BH. I will try the Vega Pro 1.8 on FH, by far quick enough for me.
I also love the straight handle of Yasaka, flatter than most and not too small. Excellent value for money and made in Sweden, perfect...

After using this blade (Hurricane 3 FH and Yasaka XHG BH), I understand why YEO is such a popular blade. It is a solid OFF blade with plenty of gears. It's thin and flexible enough to make looping very easy, but it has enough support for effective blocking game. All in all, very satisfied. This blade reminds me of Stiga Intensity, just a tad bit stiffer and slower.

В первую очередь хотелось бы сказать про работу магазина. Сервис на уровне. Быстрая доставка, возможность выбора по весу. Всё ОК.
Про основание. Мой экземпляр: ручка FL, вес 87g (так просил), нареканий на качество изготовления нет. Брал основу для игры липучками, FH - Yinhe Venus II 40°, BH - Yinhe Venus II 37°. До этого накладки пробовал на основании Yasaka Sweden Extra, понравилось вращение и контроль, но не хватало скорости и мощи чтобы решать исход розыгрыша максимально быстро. По этому решил взять YEO - классика под липучки. Пока играл им мало, много не расскажу. Но это именно то что искал. Рекомендую.

Bought this as a second spare blade. Not of equal quality to my other blade. The veneer on one side was fine but the other side was a mess with odd distortions in the grain that I have never seen on any other blade before now. May be a second as I would be astonished if quality control at Yasaka is non existent. So in the future I will avoid special offers as they may be reductions due to poor quality or seconds.

This blade is a bit stiff due to outer layers, it gaves consistency for blocks and hittings. I has enough speed to win a game and good control for shots, it may bit harder for over table touches because shorter dwell time and feeling.
As a result of stiff walnut layers, not preferred for beginners or developping players because it gives feedback for power shots not soft touches or slow spins.
I used that blade with xiom vega pro on bh/fh, which fits nicely serves, smashes, flicks, spins are quite confortable.
Also i tested with hurricane 3 on fh and yasaka rakza 7 on bh, rakza 7 has more control due to mid-hardness, hurricane 3 fıts okey but without boosting has less feel and speed on this blade.
If you want to stiff and balanced blade, its perfect for price. it has a good build quality and large sweetspot.

This is a stiff blade. I ordered 90 gm blade, and tt11 sent me exact. The blade face is a little small, compared to stiga blades. Overall, this blade is perfectly constructed. The balance is perfect,doesn't feel head heavy even having chinese rubber both sides. Less dwell compared to other all wood limba outer blades. Using h3neo on fh. Working very well till now.

The YEO straight handled I received was 89 grams after free VOC lacquering. The wood quality is excellent and handle comfortable. I'm still testing different rubbers (currently 999T / yinhe moon) to find the optimal combination. This setup is fast enough but with control, especially in blocking (my style close to table attack). The FH side works well with chinese rubbers like H3Neo, 999T.

Table tennis 11 continues to impress me with their service and prices.

After reading some reviews I thought this blade would be fast as hell and thus very hard to control. However, I was surprised with it's playing characteristics. It's a great blade, powerful, a bit springy but very well balanced, without unpleasant vibrations and not difficult to control. Now I have two YMLEOs, first ordered a year ago from another seller and the second from TT11. Both blades have been manufactured perfectly. TT11 dispatched it the same day I ordered (88g, as I requested) and I got it in a week (actually in a four days only, since on Friday and weekdays parcel stayed at the customs). It seems you can't expect nothing but the great service from TT11. Keep up the good work guys!

I was disappointed with the quality of this blade. The wood grain looks like its going in 2 different directions and the blade looks like its 5 ply on the bottom but when you look at the top you only see 3 plies of wood!!
