I tried the mxs 2.0 on my forehand rubber and i was told that it seems to curve more in mid air. It also seems a bit slow but not too slow for my forehand. Perhaps i am used to using mxp on my forehand. Mxs seems to fit more on my backhand. I tried the rubber on Timo Boll Spirit and it seems a bit slow. It seems mxs shines more on a longer dwell blade such as Tibhar Stratus Powerwood. As far as power, it appears that mxp has generates more power as expected. As for spin, its about the same as mxp. Excellent rubber for backhand.

What I like about this rubber is that it has a hard sponge and a direct trajectory, goes where you point it. So if you do not have good technique you will struggle to generate spin and consistent strokes, it is not a forgiving rubber.
The rubber has plenty of gears and is excellent on passive strokes.
A good backhand rubber.

Excellent grippy rubber. A little slower than MX-P (allegedly) but still very fast and much spinnier: excellent for looping.
Control is also good when hitting the ball over the table.
Can't go wrong with this rubber.
Not sure how good it is in terms of durability.

На второй стороне стоит MX-P 1,9-2,0.
Месяц пытался играть и слева, и справа. Но так и не смог привыкнуть и справиться с ней. Возможно всё дело в моих навыках. Для любителей, пожалуй, эта накладка не подходит.
Отметил такие плюсы для себя:
- отличный блок;
- вращение при подаче;

Tibhar's high quality ESN rubber product line. Nothing special beyond that, though it is worth noting that the sponge is noticeably softer than MX-P. Would recommend for a traditional two-winged looper or blocker style.

I feel like this is one of the safest rubbers you can buy if you are uncertain what kind of offensive rubber to buy. However, keep in mind that this is a powerful, high-grade rubber. You can easily use this on either forehand or backhand. At first glance this rubber does lack in control, but it's quite manageable with correct technique. 9.5/10

This goes well on both my forehand and backhand but it is definitely best on my backhand which uses a quicker stroke. I have had many compliments on the quality and spin of backhand. These rubbers definitely benefit from a fast stroke which really catapults the ball.

This is a fairly typical newer generation tensor. There’s really nothing to say bad about the rubber. It’s high quality. Has a high throw. It spins the ball quite well. The newer tensors seem to be a little better with short game. The early generation tensors were overly bouncy. It was hard to keep the ball short.

Great FH and BH rubber with the emphasis on the spin. Very reliable on FH drives and loops, not very fast but still on the faster side, definitely quicker than average. Very easy to initiate an attack from the back hand. Very good on different blades with identical playing characteristics: Ovtcharov True Carbon, Barwell Fleet, Acoustic Carbon, Treiber K, Treiber CO OFF/S, Samsonov Force Pro, Tibhar Stratus Powerwood.
My normal set up MX-S FH, Tenergy 05 BH on Ovtcharov True Carbon, Treiber K, Treiber CO OFF/S.

It is more sticky and slower than Fastarc G1. I had a feeling like I was playing with light, soft Chinese rubber. It is not a spin monster like others describe. And control is not super. But it is better than many rubbers I have played, in terms of spin and control. After using a booster it became a good rubber: more spinny and faster. Recommend booster.

High-end rubber. Very fast, but a tad slower than MX-P(also less catapult) and the new MX-D(MX-D requires more effort and better quality, more precise stroke, but can achieve higher top-end speed). Spin is on the higher end. I've tried this in 2.0 sponge thickness and it was already a bit too much for me to handle during faster rallies. Sponge hardness is around 48 degrees on the ESN scale.

Does everything so well when matched with my Donic Waldner World Champion 89' blade on both sides (max). Controllable speed with a low to medium trajectory. I am currently use MX-P. I ordered 4 pieces of MX-S last month and try to have a better spin loops. However, it turned out the rubber is much harder than MX-P and harder to loop and spin when I am playing. I DON’T recommend this rubber, I will stay on MX-P.

Very similar playing characteristic with Fastarc G1, which is a very good rubber. Because the rubber is so hard, forehand drive gives me a similar feel of hitting with hurricane 3.
Overall, a very good quality rubber last quite long. Got all the good perks of Fastarc G1, linear, low catapult, good grip, great spin. However, it is harder and slower than G1, also slightly heavier. I have no issue switching between G1 and MX-S middle of the match, just slight speed difference

I was skeptical at first since it’s a very hard and heavy rubber. But I gave it a try regardless.
God, this rubber is pure insanity!
It’s not forgiving at all, you need to hit the ball well, pushing hard and putting a lot of body energy. The rubber does very little to help you, poor catapult, so be ready to sweat and get tied pretty soon,
But the reward is infinite speed, power, and spin.
And surprisingly, a lot of arc even if the trajectory is low! If the ball is well brushed, the arc is amazing.
It’s basically a Chinese rubber (like Hurricane) on steroids!
It is also quite insensitive to incoming spin.
I’m planning to change it because I don’t have the adequate physical condition, I’m too old and I can’t keep the paste the rubber requires. But man, if you have a good technique and your body is in good shape, try it out!
You’re gonna be amazed.

The MX-S is a very interesting rubber. It can produce heavy spin and can be very fast. But you do have to commit to the stroke in order for that to happen. I tried this several years ago and I did not like it because it didn't behave the way MX-P did. Between regular MX-P and MX-S, I actually prefer MX-S now, as the control is way better and it has more potential (spin/speed/control). Here again, you have to unlock that potential, but it is there. As of now, I'm just using it on my FH, but I think I would actually like this on my BH. Coming from using MXP 50 on my FH, this is slower, but not by too much. I'm looking forward to seeing how this rubber behaves after several months compared to how the MXP 50 did after several months. This is a great rubber to try out for those who have good technical ability.

Usually, I don't write reviews. Now I really want to recommend this rubber to my sports fellows. My USATT is 1850+ and I like to loop from both sides.
I have been playing Tenergy 05 for many years, almost 10 years. Have to admit that it is a good rubber, but the price keeps going higher and higher. I have been trying to find all kinds of deals to bring the cost down, but no luck this time when I want to change my rubbers. So I decided to try something new. It is not difficult to ask around to get recommendations: Tibhar MX-P. Normally, I go with a little bit soft rubber so I get MX-S instead.

So far I play the rubber for one month, twice a week on my Tim Boll ALC blade. The spinning is excellent, don't feel much difference from T05. Defense is no problem, feeling the same as T05. The rubber is a little bit slower than I expected, either close to the table or middle far from the table. I attribute this to soft rubber. I contacted TT11, asking if I can switch to MX-P and they said yes. Fantastical service! I didn't because the shipping fee from the USA is killing. But I will try MX-P next time.

Overall, I am happy with the rubber. It is not the same as T05, but I would say for 2000 below players, the little hard-to-tell difference doesn't justify the huge difference in price.

I used it as forehand since I have a fast blade. It generates a lot of spin even if I drive it with moderate strokes from close to table position. When I make a forehand stroke away from the table, it generates a strong spin.
When I use it with backhand stroke, it easily generates an unexpected side-spin.
I like the way it performs over the affordable price.

Purchased for the forehand side on a Tibhar Balsa Allround 50 blade. This rubber does everything desired. It enhances the speed and spin characteristics of the blade while maintaining good control and feel, enabling a controlled and accurate (albeit slower) offensive forehand style of play. Touch is excellent with this combo too, enabling soft, short shots and simple service returns.

MX-S is a Fantastic rubber. Before switching to MX-S i've played with MX-P on my FH... MX-S is a bit slower, but has a bit more feeling for me on the blade, longer dwell time, which contributes to the spin varieties, and widens the playing ability, it is very good for me on the table, near the table and away from the table. MX-S is very good to serve with, and is not as jumpy on touch shots as MX-P.

This rubber will do it all, the lower gears are still accessible and very linear when needed, but also can create super spinny open ups well. So far, my favorite blade attached is the DHS Fang Bo 2. It is best for me as my backhand to most blades, but it's really good on my forehand with this blade. Great short game and serves if one has a decently good touch. A small bounce, great grip and spin when needed. Its spin is insensitive when blocking and a great rubber to place with as it is not too sensitive. Durable as well.
9.4/10 would recommend to intermediate to pro-am players.

I have been using this for more than 10 types of racquet and found they are all appropriate. The best is probably to go with 10 mm hinoki. MX-P is slightly faster but not much. They are both close to Tenergy.

I have tried many rubbers, so I feel that I'm in a good position to compare MX-S to anything on the market. For me this rubber has the best combination of speed, spin and control. Speed and spin can easily be varied to disrupt your opponents rhythm. Looping, driving, blocking, touch close to the net, spinny serves - it's got the lot. Durability very good. Quite heavy, so I suggest combining it with a lightweight blade. Out of curiosity, I am going to try EL-S on my backhand but I doubt that it will be any better than playing MX-S on both sides.

This rubber is a little bit slower than MX-P. I use it for my backhand just because my backhand is very good. Evolution serius rubbers are very high quality rubbers. For my forehand I use MX-P. Sometimes I think I should have tried FX-P for my forehand just because it provides more control for your blade. Overall I'm very happy with both rubbers MX-S and MX-P as well. Recommended for offensive style players.

I returned to table tennis with a 1700+ rating and liked Tenergy because my winning shot is my forehand loop and kill. Changing rubber every few months became expensive so I changed to Tibhar Evolution MX-P. Then I tried MX-S and found that I was more consistent with flat kills, could block better, and did not sacrifice spin. Great for forehand attack!

As per all the reviews this rubber handles beautifully. I am using it on my backhand and it has great control. You are able to direct the ball were you want it. I have a good backhand smash/loop and this rubber performs well for it. Tried it on my forehand and it works very good as well.

I spent weeks of studying before choosing the rubbers of Tibhar Evolution line for my new racquet. I want something spinier than my XIOM Omega IV Europe DF.

And MX-P was what I really had my eyes on but in the last minutes, selected MX-S for my weak backhand because of the reviews of its being slower, spinner, and easier to control.

Wow, MX-S fits my style perfectly (aggressive fast attack with flat hits but want to add more spin and loop to my play). After switching it to my forehand, I am pleasantly surprised to discover that its low-throwing angle puts many of my riverboat-gamble low smashes on the table! It never happened with other racquets before!

And in other cases, the spin of my long serve caused the ball to veer off last minutes and my opponent actually missed contact. Another first.

In short, suddenly I appear to be a better player than I actually am :>).

Perhaps because of my familiarity with the fast XIOM Omega IV Europe, the MX-P didn't stand out (to me) as expected. I felt more confident with MX-S and wish that I have it on both sides of my racquet (Tibhar Drinkhall Powerspin Carbon).

tabletennis11.com is great by the way. I'm from Canada and was hesitant to buy from a site that far away, but I couldn't find a local supply for both rubbers. I'm glad I did. Very fast shipment. Highly recommend.

After years of using Tenergy 05 and 05fx, I stumbled across the Evolution MX-S. Since it was about half the cost of Tenergy, I decided to give it a try. I was amazed to find I had more spin and control, not only with loops but with touch shots. For my game, I have found no down sides.
I highly recommend MX-S.

I came from playing with Tenergy 05 on a Viscaria blade which I love; if it would not have been for the cost I would not have looked for something else. Luckily for me MX-S has been perfect; controlled touch and inviting to play drives with great spin that nicely drives the ball in unpleasant directions for the opponent. MX-S feels rewarding as when you put effort in a stroke you get something significant in return. I also liked MX-P but right now that rubber is too fast for me as I prefer the control that MX-S gives me to cover the ball and keep the ball on the table.

Everyone buys MX-P as a Tenergy replacement, and I did as well. My strength is my forehand loop, but I would like to be as confident on forehand kills.

But I tried MX-S because I heard it had better control and was better for kills. I have to agree as MX-S increased my forehand kill confidence. It is also superb for blocking and control.

I've tried most Evolution rubbers and MX-S doesn't behave like the rubbers from P series.

MX-S is a heavy, very hard rubber, with little to almost no bounciness, a medium throw on hard strokes that became medium-low on light strokes and a top sheet with great grip, but not tacky.

The amount of spin produced for MX-S is great, but the lack of catapult from his sisters from P series makes MX-S slower and not so good as MX-P away from the table. It is also an unforgiving rubber, if you are not in great position it's probable that the ball will find the net.

It is a good rubber, but I didn't enjoy my time with MX-S and took it from my blade after four sessions. I just couldn't play well with this rubber on my backhand where the lack of catapult and lower throw than the rubbers I'm used made it tough to play there and despite being able to play very well with it on my forehand, I just like MX-P, EL-P, M1, Powergrip or any faster, a bit softer and more aggressive rubbers better.

The lower throw and lack of bounciness makes MX-S good blocking, easy to play the short game and to keep serves low. The amount of spin generated is great on serves, pushes or loops, but the rubber touch is really hard. It feels like a chinese rubber, but lacks that nice high arc from these rubbers and is not tacky.

I've used it on my Zetro Quad blade in max thickness on forehand for about 16 hours so far with celluloid ball.

It behaves pretty much like Xiom Omega V Tour in many aspects but still maintains it's individuality in others. It is a hard rubber (Tibhar says up to 48 degrees) even harder than OVT, but it doesn't feel that hard when playing.
Not very sensitive to incoming spin.

The dwell time is great and seems to be even bit more than OVT.

The feel I like with celluloid ball (didn't test with plastic yet).

The speed is not the top out there and greatly depends on your arm acceleration. Yes the catapult is almost absent and the rubber is quite linear which is good for short play but in some situations you will be missing the catapult.

The throw is medium in my opinion. Depending on your stroke you can produce even higher arc when spinning the ball heavily. On fast stroke the arc is quite low. So the arc is definitely lower than Tenergy 05 but I think a bit higher than or the same as Tenergy 64.

The spin is what is the best about this rubber.

The control is great as well.

Overall I love this rubber much and can recommend to anyone unless you need a catapult.

The best rubber for the polyball for me.
Very easy to lift backspin and good speed.
My only problem was that it didnt react in the same manner
at times. Continious looping, suddenly the ball Just drops in the net, same stroke but now it flies over the table. Reglued, but same thing happened. In both backspin and topspin stroke.
