With fast arc g1 rubber combo, the violin maybe slower for those who use acoustic. But if good control and higher arc is what you are going for, this is the perfect blade for you. The sweet spot sound has a delightful tone to it. I enjoy using it when I am not competing.

Having been using a viscaria prior to this blade the violin gas so much more feel and control. I was sceptical having read reviews talking about feel etc. But as soon as you use one of these it makes perfect sense.
The fastarc rubbers generate liads of spin on serve and loop and amazingly are not overly sensitive to incoming spin. I now land probably an extra 10% of shots over the viscaria and find blocking very easy. I did find the viscaira let ne be lazy with shots sometimes whereas I need better shot shape with the violin but that will improve my game overall. Very happy to have changed

Started playing again after 10 years. Coming from STIGA Offensive CR with Chinese tacky rubbers, it took some getting used to. The feedback of the racket is excellent, and the weight (I picked heavy Violin) is comfortable. I alternate between this and Acoustic for training, and I am very happy with this racket combination.

I will 100% recommend buying.

Compared to Acoustic, however, I find that my backhand smash is a little slower. For forehand loops, Violin is better for me.

First of all, let TT11 put your rackets together because their guy is good at it. He matched the black/red of the violin blade (and of course the rubber) with some black/red Donic edge tape and it strikes fear in opponents. Seriously it surprised me how good it looks. Caused me to change my whole color scheme and go buy some black and red shoes ????.

The Violin has a great feel, and gentle touch when needed, but can go from 0 to 60 quickly. With the Fastarc G1 combo, which is phenomenal rubber, you can bounce around between chops, pushes, blocks, loops, drives, and smashes easily. It's not the heaviest combo together and away from the table drives don't catapult quite as easily for me, sometimes hitting the net. But I've been switching between Timo Boll Spirit and the Violin a lot and my lack of experience with each may be causing it.
I've been blessed lately - to be able to purchase some nice blades - but if you can only choose one combo, you can't go wrong with this.

Nice blade...you know the saying "feel the ball"...this is the blade where you can really "feel the ball" as you hit contact with the ball...

Very good racket with a small handle. Perfect for me because I don't have big hands.
I previously bought Fastarc G-1 on a Stiga Allround Evolution and had poor control when blocking or returning heavy spin balls. I do not have these problems with Nittaku Violin. A very good quality racket.

It is the second time I buy a Violin blade, and you can figure out why it is very good and forgiving. The first violin was light 79-80 grams and helped me to develop my strokes as n allrounder. This one is 87 grams and let me be more aggressive when I am in the mood.
To sum it up, this wood brings me more victories. Very spinny and controllable combination. The blade itself is different than everything you have ever used. Don't believe me just try it yourself. Thank you, Tabletennis11 team.

This racket gives you a feeling of very high quality. My game has been improving consistently since I have been using this racket. The only thing is that all the weight of the racket seems to come from the top part of it.
