Played with this for about 3 months - 2 days per week, solid durability and have decided to buy more for my spare identical blade as a backup. it is a spinny and yet quite a fast rubber. I do not want to make comparison with well known benchmark pro player rubbers but this is amongst the best rubber for me as an intermediate player. I will disagree with the manufacturer's 40 hardness rating, I would say 36-38 but I do not have tools to measure. Great rubber for looping and blocking.

This rubber is great for attacking, on forehand, not too heavy, topspin and chopping are good; catapult not too strong, which is better for me.
Some say it’s good substitute for tenergy.; yes and depends on your level of technique and playing style. Using only 2 weeks, so far durable enough, a good buy.

Used this on both sides, I found the Z2 to be quite fast and suited my backhand more than my FH. Harder and bouncier than fastarc g1. Loops are loaded with spin as well as speed. Not as forgiving as G1. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this rubber. Thank you tt11

This is one of my favorite rubbers for forehand. Its also great for backhand. For someone with good technique, this rubber can generate tons of spin. Its quite lethal. It also kicks pretty hard when top spinning especially when brushed well. I have used other rubbers such mxp, mxs, Xiom O7 pro, T05, D05 and T19 in the past but Hammond Z2 is my favorite.
The only issue is durability. The edge of the rubber cracks when a hard ball hits the edge of the rubber. It happends even when its brand new. Otherwise, its a perfect rubber at least for me.

A balanced, pemium rubber for high intermediate and advanced players. I purchased 1 sheet for my fh. The blade I am using is a Nittaku Septear Feel Inner. Serves have very good spin, can serve short and spinny or fast and long. Receive is good, not bouncy, somewhat spin sensitive.The rubber has medium arc, but it clears the net quite easily. My fh flicks have good speed and spin, given I struggle with this technique. Loops and topsins are very good, loaded with spin, regardless if you do a slow, shallow loop or a fast and powerful one. Counter topspins feel very stable. The rubber holds the ball, then shoots rather violently. It has a lot of power, speed and spin, making it easy to end the point. The control is surprisingly good for such a powerful and fast rubber. It pairs well with my blade.

I used this rubber in full thickness in the past and found it fast for me ,
So I switched to 2 mm thickness now on my FH which is fast enough for me ,it is insensitive to incoming spin and it is not springy so you get what you put on your shots ; predictable rubber which is good for me .it has a hard feeling and decent spin .

This is one powerful rubber when paired with the right blade. For my style, it seems to work well with an inner carbon type of blade. It works well with Tibhar Stratus Carbon. One thing i noticed about this blade when looping is the kick. The ball will tend to dive quite a bit and people i played with noticed it. Plenty of power to finish a point. Generates a ton of spin. In my honest opinion, its much powerful than tenergy 05.

Z2 is fairly superior rubber if you get the lighter one. Among four rubbers I have got, the uncut weights have been varied btw 67g to 72g.

The other issue is the lifetime of the energy, it last one month approximately; I normally take it down and boost it with one layer of Falco and it is good for another one month.

I was reluctant to buy this rubber and I deeply regret that Easier to use than Fastarc G1.
Great speed and spin, not affected by incoming spin, great control; actually amazing.
It is light weight 45-46 grams cut to 150x157 blade.
I tried it on both FH&BH and it goes either way.
My go to rubber for both sides from now on!!!

This is truly a powerful rubber. It's used best with an innercarbon type of blade. It's perfect with Stratus Samsonov Carbon. I use it on FH. People I play with see the difference in power when compared to T05. It's more powerful than T05. It's powerful and yet I still hit the table quite consistently. I am a powerlooper and it seems to suit very well with my style. It doesn't usually return when I powerloop especially against underspin.

Its my second time to buy this rubber... I use it on FH on a Xiom Calderano HAL, and it works perfect. Control is great, blocks are amazing, very good spin and nice speed. Counter spin from mid range works excellent. Change it from BH, but it was not bad at all. Just need a rubber with little more dwell time.

Es muy poderosa, no tan sensible al giro, rápida, y con buen agarre, genial en el drive y golpes planos.
La he probado en Acoustic, Harimoto y Ovtcharov. Todos Inner. Y el rendimiento es genial en todos. Tanto en FH como BH.
Concuerdo en que los bordes son propensos a desmoronarse, pero no afecta en nada su funcionamiento.
Es con distancia una de las mejores gomas que he probado.

Having used Nittaku rubbers like p1, g1 and s1 in the past, I can safely say that Hammond Z2 is an upgrade from the P1 rubber, has good control, spin, is very dependable when you are attacking. Counter/passive blocks are quite good too.
All in all i can say that if you are a fan of Nittaku rubbers, this is a must-try. You wont regret it.

Very consistent, great speed and spin.
Only detriment is that quite easily it gets cracked/broken and rubber deteriorates if it gets hit.

Excellent rubber overal. Its easy to spin the ball from every situation in the game. Topsheet grip is great. The worst side of the rubber are damages on the end of a cutted rubber, but that have not influences on the game, so main expression is excellent. I use commbination Xiom Hugo Calderano HAL with this rubber and recommend it to everyone.

Using it on FH in Black - max thickness.

Great for attack with strong spin and speed without losing control.
Smashes with wonderful power.
It is not the lightest rubber you can get (49g)
The only detriment is that it won't last very much with the same good values.
After a month or two playing 3-4 time a week it loses it's spin.

I was led to believe this was a cheaper replacement for Tenergy 05.
This is NOT the case. It is slower, significantly less spinny and bouncy.
What is positive is the close game. It becomes a lot easier but I really miss
the Tenergy feeling.

Do NOT expect this to be like Tenergy.

Tabletennis11 is hands down the best shop in world. I got this in 2 days the fastest delivery on record :-)

Very good all-round rubber, I purchased and play with 1.8mm black on my forehand. Gives good control and is spinny. Has the speed if you have the technique, however when initially launched it was the "best rubber in the world", not sure about that but it is a very good allround rubber, which is recommended.

At first I tried for FH but I think it's better suited for me on BH. It's slightly soft on the top sheet so it easily grips short balls for flicks. Very controllable on long balls away from the table but not too much catapult effect.

This rubber needs a lot of effort and body strength to be put on for effective spin, and speed to get your opponent in trouble, rubber has a great top sheet but was very reactive in my experience - which could be due to my level of not able to handle it - nevertheless, it does bring great potential for an alternative for those folks looking to replace the tacky topsheet rubbers with more power.

I would compare this rubber to tenergy 64/64 fx. Spin is not incredible, control is good and speed is great. I would assume a lot of top female players with short backhand strokes would make use of this rubber. The rubber seems to have a low/medium arc. I've used it on Calderano HAL, but it would probably be good on violin/acoustic on the backhand.
