The ply composition of this offensive blade mirrors the setup Zhang Jike used during his illustrious playing career. The Chinese world and Olympic champion collaborated closely with Donic’s development team, who precisely implemented his specifications.
At its core is an exceptionally lightweight kiri wood layer, surrounded by ayous plies and two layers of cured aramid carbon for added stability and power. The outer veneer is made from hard African koto wood, providing a crisp, direct feel.
Zhang Jike, known for his relentless pursuit of perfection, not only refined every aspect of his technique as a player but now applies the same dedication to equipment development. Under his guidance, a dynamic offensive blade was born—a true weapon for ambitious players.
